• HEIGHT & WEIGHT, five eleven and one seventy two
• PIERCINGS & TATTOOS, mason has a total of seven tattoos located in various places on his body, the most prominent being a cross on his chest.
• FASHION SENSE, mason just wears what he feels is most comfortable. his wardrobe consists mainly of jeans, his almost every day choice. for tops he prefers polos and button downs or sometimes just a plain t-shirt and hoodie. despite his casual attire, he can clean up quite nicely and he enjoys dressing up when the need arises.
• DISTINGUISHING FEATURES, what hits you first when your eyes fall on mason is his extremely messy blondish/brown hair. it used to be perfectly combed and tidy but after his mother's death, he just lets it do whatever it wants, which makes the ladies dream about running their fingers through it. he always has quite the body, although he isn't usually found without his shirt on. nevertheless, he enjoys working out, usually in the forms of running and swimming, as they prove a wonderful escape from the world.
• PLAYED BY, alex pettyfer.

• TURN-ONS,
naturally beautiful girls, dark wavy hair, nice smelling shampoo, when a girl runs her fingers through his hair
• FEARS,
losing loved ones, never finding the right girl, never becoming a professional singer, and being taken advantage of
• SECRETS,
he's a virgin
• HABITS/QUIRKS,
running his fingers through his hair, placing pencils behind his ear and forgetting they're there, chewing on the erasers of pencils when he's composing lyrics
• PERSONALITY, the trait that women notice first and foremost about mason is his gentlemanly charm. he was raised to be a gentleman and a gentleman he is. although in the past year he slipped up a little, he has always remained a true gentleman and always will be. he opens doors for ladies. he pulls out their chairs. he makes sure they get home safely. and he never, never disrespects them. it’s a character trait that has made him a catch for any woman, although he has no desire to be “caught”. he is content to be alone, although his heart is taken.
the mason before the death of his mother was always a little on the shy side. the post death mason has broken out of his shell a little. whereas he never used to initiate conversation, nowadays he’s not afraid to walk up to a random person and strike up a conversation, although that hardly ever happens. despite his newfound courage, he’s still a few friends kind of guy and he likes to keep to himself just like he always has. this sometimes sends out the anti-social vibe but those who understand him know he’s actually quite sociable whenever he gets to know someone.
another reason for people to misunderstand mason is his seriousness. he doesn’t play around when it comes to certain areas of his life, most importantly his music. being bothered during rehearsing or composing will most likely result in a hard stare and curt dismissal. a lot of his friends urge him to loosen up, but he doesn’t listen to them. music is his life and he just doesn’t feel that it should be something to be played around with.
as for the love department, mason is deeply in love with his best friend sienna. however, he hasn’t contacted her for months now mostly because of the death of his mother still fresh in his mind. he’s dated a couple of girls while he’s been around touring but he’s always ended it within a few weeks. he wants no one but sienna but he’s not sure if she still feels the same way about him. what a surprise it will be when he sees her in montreal..

• HISTORY,
janine lewis was a cute, five year old girl when she met adam bradford, an adorable seven year old boy, at party her parents had thrown. it was love at first sight, at least for her it was. she made plans for them to get married and so despite his unwillingness, they did. it was one year later and it was a very low key wedding. her favorite stuffed animals were the guests and adam’s pet bunny rabbit was their preacher. it was the best day of her life and she enjoyed her “married years”. unfortunately adam was “unfaithful” and the marriage was ended two years later when he developed a crush on a girl in his grade. janine, to say the least, was devastated. it took eight years for him to convince her to forgive him. by that time, she was entering high school as a freshman and he was going back as a junior. they became best friends and they stayed that way up until his graduation. their parents foresaw marriage, but the two denied it. they were just friends, or so they thought. adam attended the community college but had plans to go overseas when he graduated. as his graduation date neared, Janine grew more and more restless. she loved him and the thought of him leaving her to travel thousands of miles across the world scared her. finally, the night of his graduation, she confessed her feelings for him. to her astonishment, he expressed his feelings for her. he postponed his departure for two years, waiting until she graduated until the two married and then left for santorini, greece.
the first little boy to be brought into the bradford family was little landon. he was the sweetheart, never fussing or crying. however he was followed two years later by the ever rambunctious cedric. after dealing with cedric’s cries and constant calls in the middle of the night, Janine and adam agreed that two was enough. they had enough on their plate, as he was a successful architect and she had found a well paying job as an accountant. but apparently two wasn’t enough. two years later, mason o’neil bradford was brought into the world. he wasn’t a planned child, but the couple loved him just the same. and so the bradford family was complete.
mason, being the youngest of the family, was constantly being picked on by his older brothers, not so much landon as cedric. landon would occasionally stand up for him but usually cedric was sneaky and picked on mason without anyone else knowing. but hey, they were kids. janine and adam learned that at a young age, mason was quite the serious boy. when they gave him a chore or task to do, he set out to do it with vigor. they also learned that all three of the boys were talented singers, although landon and cedric didn’t seem to want to pursue it as much as mason did. although he was a shy child, mason loved to perform for people. even in stores he would just grab something that resembled a microphone and start belting out tunes.
it was in santorini that he met his best friend, sienna. he was blind, as most guys are and didn’t realize that she was in love with him for the longest time. however he finally figured it out and the two were perfect for each other. but all good things come to an end and sienna’s parents, due to some of her wild partying escapades, sent her to a boarding school in paris. it left mason alone and hurt. they kept in touch for awhile, but then tragedy struck the bradford family. janine suffered a heart attack and died within a few minutes. the entire family was in shock. she had been in great health, always working out and eating healthy. yet it had still happened. losing his best friend and love and his mother within the span of a few months was too much for mason. he lost himself for awhile. he got tattoos and began drinking. he shut himself off from the world and from sienna, whom he didn’t call or return calls to. he knew he had to leave santorini and so he did after his high school graduation. he started opening for bands and traveling around.
and that’s why he’s currently in montreal. he’s opening for the band he’s touring with and he has no idea that the love of his life is currently residing here.

• OTHER CHARACTERS, none so far.
• ROLEPLAY SAMPLE,valentine’s day. for people like mason bradford it meant love, as in the warm feeling you got when you were around that certain person. the way your heart started beating so fast and loud you were sure it was going to pop right out of your chest whenever that certain person smiled at you or brushed their hand against yours. there were a lot of things mason wasn’t sure of and one thing in particular he had been continuously battling in his head. it seemed like his own heart was waging war on him, tearing slowly down the middle into two separate parts. the ‘you love zooey in more than a friend way’ and the ‘you love zooey as a friend way’. the war had been waging for far too long and mason had been dying for it to end. every minute he spent with zooey reagan slowly but surely tore his heart, although he was sure she had no idea about his internal battle. but the night before last, one side of his heart had finally won the battle. the ‘you love zooey in more than a friend way’ had come out on top. and that was it. mason bradford loved zooey reagan. it seemed so simple now. he loved her. loved the girl he spent all his time with, the girl who made him laugh, the girl who supported him in every way. mason never in a million years had thought he would feel the feeling that grasped him now. ever since his revelation, he had been so elated, so euphoric. he loved zooey reagan! every time he thought of her face, he couldn’t help but smile and laugh giddily. and that had been two days ago. the world seemed so different to him now. somehow it was brighter, not that it had been dull to him before, but it just did. there was no way to describe it. and so that very night, he had decided he would confess to zooey his love for her on valentines day. zooey, right off the bat, he flirted with him, although he had been oblivious. it had taken nate seeing the pair to make mason see that. mason smiled at the thought of that day. he and zooey had been at mason’s house watching a movie when nate had barged in unexpectedly because he was bored and wanted something to do. so naturally mason had invited him to sit down and join them. at the end of the first movie, zooey had gotten up to go to the bathroom and nate had thrown a pillow right at mason’s head. you are truly blind my brother. he had said. she totally wants you. mason had just rolled his eyes. zooey didn’t see him like that, did she? after that little insight from nate, he had inconspicuously watched her and how she interacted with other boys and then with him. sure enough, she seemed to reserve her best smile for him and other things that he would never have noticed if he hadn’t been watching for them. at first he had been flattered. but then he had realized the dangers of it. what if he did decide to go out with zooey and then something happened to them? surely their strong friendship would fall to ruins. he had heard enough stories to know best friends who furthered their relationship and then broke up were never the same again. he couldn’t risk that with zooey. she was so much a part of his life that without her, he would surely crack. and so he had tried to make it clear to her that he had no interest in any relationships. it seemed she got the point, because from then on she hadn’t been as forward as she had been at first. she still reserved that special smile for him, though.
mason lifted a small, white jewelry box off of his dresser and opened it. a ring lay in it. a white gold band with two pink sapphires in the middle of two hearts. when he had finally decided he loved zooey, he had gone out to the jewelers and bought it for her, ignoring the price tag. zooey deserved the best and he had had a stash of money saved up. it had been for a vintage guitar he had been longing for, but he had decided the ring was a better cause. he fingered it gently before closing the box and gently placing it back on the shelf. tonight was going to be a magical night, he hoped. he had made reservations at a very nice restaurant downtown and planned to bring zooey back to his house for dessert and then present her with the ring, asking her to be his girlfriend. it would be very proposal like, but just not for a wedding. now all he had to do was call zooey up and ask her to dinner. he was just reaching for his phone when it started vibrating. zooey’s name appeared on the screen and a smile lit up his face. was love always like this? as soon as he read the text, his face fell and he plopped down onto his king sized bed. going to ed warner's party. just going to meet a few girl's there and probably head back home. uhm.. i know you're not into this whole party thing, but if you have nothing to do on singles awarness day then just meet me there. okay? (: ed warner’s party? yes, mason had heard about that, had even been invited by a few of his friends. but naturally, he had declined. ed warner and many of the people attending the party had a very different idea of valentine’s day. instead of love, it was making love. sex, drugs, and alcohol. yes, that was what that party would be full of. the mere thought of it was enough to make him sick. and zooey was going? it was possible she didn’t even know what she was getting into. mason deliberated texting her back and trying to dissuade her from going, and instead attending dinner with him. but if zooey really wanted to go, he didn’t want to ruin her plans. in his heart, he knew zooey would change her plans if he begged her. but he wouldn’t do that to her. better cancel the reservations. sighing, he threw a look at the box sitting on his dressed. “i guess i won’t be needing you tonight,” he said forlornly. wow. he was talking to jewelry. how pathetic. mason couldn’t help but feel a little bitter. stupid party. he shouldn’t have thought without a doubt that zooey would reserve her valentine’s day for him. he had made it clear he had no feelings for her and so why would they spend the day of love together? it would probably be bitter for her. stupid mason. why would anyone want to spend the day with a person they couldn’t have on valentines day?
mason had no desire to attend that party, but worry for zooey would probably eat him away the entire night if he didn’t go to make sure she was okay. obviously she didn’t expect him to show up. she knew how much he hated parties like that. so he could surprise her. confessing his love for her at ed’s party wouldn’t be romantic, partly because she probably wouldn’t be able to hear him. but maybe he could convince her to leave early and they could catch their dinner reservations. yes, that could work. with a renewed vigor, mason pushed himself out of bed and snatched his phone. ten minutes later, his dinner reservations had been pushed back an hour and was stepping into a nice, steaming shower. the hot water poured down his back as he shampooed his hair and rinsed it out. once he was down scrubbing his body, he turned the water off and stepped out, wrapping a blue towel around his lower half. the mirror was steamy and so he wiped it with his free hand before walking to his closet in search of his party attire. clearly, he wasn’t sure of what to wear. casual or somewhat dressy? he decided on a white button up shirt with a black jacket over it, with black pants on the bottom. when he got there, if he seemed to dressy, he could always take the jacket off. it was the perfect solution. after a quick blow dry and a spritz of his cologne, the one zooey loved so much, he was out the door. he could take his car, but he decided to take the bus and save some energy. he was sure zooey would drive her own car over there and if everything went as planned, they could leave together in her car. twenty minutes after he was seated on the bus, he was stepping out of it. blaring music reached him as soon as the bus door swung open. taking a deep breath, and telling himself to stay calm, mason proceeded down the walk towards ed warner’s house. in the front windows he could see drunk people staggering around and girls dancing, if that could even be called dancing, on guys. the door swung open just before he reached for the handle and a tall guy staggered out with a blonde following right behind him. he tripped off the steps and fell into the bushes, dragging the girl down with him, giggling hysterically. mason’s first instinct was to reach out and help them, but before he could, they started a very graphic makeout session. no, they didn’t need any help. disgusted, mason walked into the house. movement on his left first caught his attention. ed warner sat surrounded by girls, clearly drugged up and intoxicated. wincing, mason proceeded on through the house in search of zooey. on his right there was a large room, the dining room, which had been cleared of all furniture and was now being used as a dance floor. a flash of brown came from the corner of his eye and he snapped his around. false alarm. it wasn’t zooey, but another girl. he pushed his way through the dancefloor, where couples definitely needed to get a room because that was clearly not dancing. he was almost through the throng of bodies when he knocked into someone and a trickle of wet liquid trickled down his arm. “ ‘scuse me,” came a slurred voice that sounded awful familiar. horrified, mason turned around to see zooey, but it wasn’t his zooey. she was obviously drunk. it was a wonder she was on her feet. she was swaying. he stuck out his arm to steady her. “zooey?” he asked incredulously.
