she loves the sky 'cause it validates her pride, never lets her know when she is wrong As soon as Elle and Dylan had made plans to go get coffee together, she was happy about it. She always enjoyed spending time with Dylan. He was such a great guy, let alone a boyfriend. She enjoyed every minute she was with him, and she just couldn't help but to get flirty around him. She was always happy with him, since he made her feel giddy and happy to just be alive. Although, coffee often had the same effect on her, but he had more of an affect on her than anything. She decided to change, even though he really wouldn't care what she wore, like always. But she still felt the need to make herself look better for him, as most girls do for their boyfriends, and even husbands, but she didn't expect her and Dylan to go that far. She was pretty much sure that she'd never go that far with him. She quickly spun around in her swivel chair, then slid over across her hard floor to her mirror and small make-up table. Elle wasn't sure how to wear her make-up. She chose her bronze eyeshadow and pink lip gloss that smelled and tasted like strawberries, which she knew Dyl wouldn't be able to resist her lip gloss and how cute she planned on looking.
She went over to her closet and picked out a nice outfit, then quickly stepped in the shower, just to rinse herself off from a nice day of watching movies on the couch in sweats. She quickly put on her clothes, knowing she still had about 10 minutes to kill. He wouldn't be close to arriving very soon. She wasn't sure what to do with that in mind. She was hoping maybe he'd be late, but she knew that he always stuck to his word. She sighed. She looked around her room. She grabbed her purse and her phone. She checked her voice mail, but she had no more messages and even had no texts, which was a bit of a surprise. She slowly made her way downstairs, not sure what to do with the time she had left until her boyfriend's arrival. She sat down on the couch and then saw the mirror near the front door. She set her bag down while she looked in the mirror. Her hair looked perfect, and so did everything else. She smoothed her clothes, making sure that they looked perfect. She heard a car horn and grinned, quickly grabbing her purse. She swung it over her shoulder, then called, “MOM, DAD, LEAVING TO GO GET COFFEE WITH DYL!” then ran out the door and opened the door. She quickly buckled up, then smiled at him. “Hey.” She grinned once more, then leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips, wrapping one of her arms around him.

tonight had started out as another boring evening. dylan had been at a loss for what he should do. he didn't have work so that meant he could do whatever he wanted. his afternoon was completely free. it started out with him arriving home after school and he immediately started up his playstation 2. for a couple hours he played some intense levels of ratchet and clank. that was one of his favorite games and it was great because there were so many different ones. thanks to it's popularity they kept on making them. however as fun as fighting weird creatures was dylan had developed a bad case of boredom. the playstation went off and the tv came on. a problem occurred. there was nothing good on tv to watch! it was true. dylan's family had a satellite dish so they had hundreds of channels yet even so dyl looked through them all and was unable to find something to entertain him.
it was quite horrible really until he decided to get out his laptop. he figured that surfing the web might be nice not to mention he could sign on im. when he signed on a familiar screen name caught his eyes. the elle in elegant. he smiled a bit to himself as he clicked on the name and began to talk to the lovely elle jameson. elle was a really close friend of his and the two had been dating for a while now. no matter what they did together dylan always had a good time. so the two teenagers began to chat. it started with dylan complaining about his tv show problems but then it ended with them making plans to hang out. elle had told him to pick her up in twenty minutes to go out for coffee. dylan closed his laptop and hopped off the couch. he stretched and wondered what he should do to waste a little bit of time. elle's house wasn't too far away so really he only needed about ten minutes or less to get there.
the young man walked into his room and looked into the mirror. his outfit looked fine. it was just a plain white shirt with light brown pants. he didn't feel the need to change, elle wouldn't care what he wore. his hair, well it just looked normal too. if you could classify it as that. his dark curls were just barely being controlled. he had a feeling that if he attempted to comb them anymore then they'd end up looking way more crazier than usual so he just let them be. dyl looked down at his watch and decided that now it was time to go. he grabbed his wallet and shoved it into his back pocket and then picked up the keys to his ford mustang. they were located on the kitchen table. his parents were home, they were both at work so after getting the keys dylan locked the door and left the house without making a sound.
after a short drive he arrived in elle's driveway. he sat in his car and gave the horn a couple quick honks to show that he was waiting. he watched as the door opened and his girlfriend came into view. she got into the car and spoke after she was finally buckled in. "hey.."
dylan replied softly with a smile on his face as he leaned over for the kiss. while they kissed, dylan could feel one of her hands being wrapped around him. it felt good, just like how it always did but he knew that the kiss had to end so he slowly pulled away. "so how was your day?" dylan asked as he returned to his previous position and started the car back up. he revved the engine and then carefully backed out of the jameson's driveway. next he started the drive to the local starbucks. she loves the sky 'cause it validates her pride, never lets her know when she is wrong Elle took her arm off of him and fixed her jacket. She smiled. Knowing that she'd have a good time made Elle excited. She loved spending time with Dylan. He was just a great guy. He'd never do anything to hurt her. She knew that. She was really tired, but that didn't matter. It wasn't like she'd been doing much that day though. But the day before she'd worked the late shift at the gas station, which really wore her out easily. Anyone knew that. She looked out the window as he drove. She really wasn't concerned about his driving, since he was a good driver and she trusted him. She watched as houses and trees past, and some business buildings too. She looked over at him, and smiled, admiring him for a few seconds. She loved moments like that. When she could just look at him without him knowing.
She sighed quietly. She played around with her bracelets, then dug in her purse for a piece of gum. It was a bit silly to chew gum, considering the fact that she would be having coffee in a few minutes, but it really didn't matter much to her. She just wanted fresher breath and to chew something. She finally found a piece of Stride and put it in her mouth, quickly chewing it. She smiled. “So, you never told me how your school day was? I didn't really see you much.” she said, looking over at him, then straight forward. Her day had been quite boring. The usual was what she could use to describe her day. Her classes really just bored her to death. She was great at every subject. She'd had straight A's for as long as she could remember.
She looked around. Montreal was quite a great city, but she never really did what she should have in town. She'd leaved there all her life but never did tourist-y things. Maybe because she wasn't a tourist, but she should have done more. She never found herself able to do things without company. Sure, she could do things with her family whenever she wanted, but she liked doing things with her friends more, even though she respected time with her mother and father. She needed time with her friends, which her parents usually understood. Sometimes, they just didn't seem to get that she wanted privacy and space. No parents could get that through their heads though, so she took advantage of whatever time she could have with friends. Even if it was just 10 minutes while her parents went out to run an errand.
She looked around. They were approaching Starbucks. She could almost see it in front of her, which was cool, but she wanted to admire him a few more times. It sounded crazy, but she did admire him a lot. She respected the time she had with him, and didn't want to forget little things that happened between them. No girl could forget little things her boyfriend did, or even a guy that wasn't her boyfriend. She'd always been like that. She looked in front of her. Approaching them, was Starbucks. She smiled. “I think I'm gonna get an iced latte. What are you going to get?”she asked him, with another smile. She gracefully flipped her hair so that it rested on her shoulder, since she really did nothing with it even though she wanted to. It wasn't easy to style when it was wet, even though for most people that's when they could do most things to their hair. She looked at him, waiting for an answer.

dylan was a guy. guys loved cars. loved them. loved them like how a girl loves shoes. his ford mustang was one of his prized possessions - next to his guitar of course. you see dylan received this lovely car as a gift form his father on his sixteenth birthday. apparently back in the day his father had, had a similar car and knew how great they were so he wanted dyl to have the same experience that he did. so everyone knows how quiet and mature the martin boy acts. hardly ever will he act even the tiniest crazy. but that day he acted totally out of character. he could remember his jaw dropping as he saw it and the next thing he started to freak out. somewhat. he was all "oh my god you got me a car!" it was that type of scenario. but really, when you are only sixteen you don't exactly expect to get a car. he had his learners permit and all but the thought of him owning a car instead of having to ride his bike or taking the germ invested bus all of the time boggled his mind.
ever since that day dylan had treated that car exceptionally well. he didn't want anything bad to happen to it. he took it to the local garage every now and then to get it checked out and washed it often. it made his parents proud, to know that he was being responsible. hearing elle's voice stopped his thoughts. he kept his eyes on the road as he drove but listened attentively to what she was saying. he shrugged in the seat and then glanced over at her for a second. he thought about his day, it was true. they hadn't seen each other much. "well you know, it was school. school sucks" he stated plainly before going over his day mentally in his mind. it was a normal day. wasn't it? oh wait, something different had happened. he hadn't attended his last two classes. "it was quite boring but i sorta ended up skipping my last couple classes" he added with a small grin as he thought about it. it had been entertaining since at the time he hadn't been alone. he had sent michelle also known as midget and asked her to join him and thankfully she had.
the light went red. dylan stopped. the young man watched the cars pass them by while they stayed still on the high way. dylan wished that the light hadn't went red because the starbucks was really close. he could see it from where they were but oh well, he'd just have to be patient. that wouldn't be much of a challenge. especially since the light just turned green. he revved the engine again as he sped off towards the starbucks. reaching the establishment he parked his car and unbuckled his seat belt. "umm, i'm not really sure what i'll get. possibly a vanilla bean frap or maybe just a coffee." he stated as he thought about both options. both sounded good but which would he prefer for today. most likely the frap. dylan got out of the car and walked over to elle's side. he opened it and held it opened so that she could get out almost as if he was some sort of butler or something. he smiled that charming smile of his and then walked with her over to the building's door. once inside they were greeted with a long line of caffeine lovers. this could take a while.
